week 7-8

OUR NEXT STEP: UX Design & Technological Testing and Research

This week, our team focus on 2 tasks:

First, we started to check our technological side and platforms direction that the future App will be based on.

It contains 3 tests:

"Wi-Fi Probing" listener software- we saw if we can use the WIFI platform that exist on campus and if it can work for us. based on our requirements and the data we need to give for the user.
Recognize a new client device in the same room of the box, define a solid signal strength threshold for “InClass” recognition.

LAST, we had a this week A meeting with the IT campus department to understand better the tools we can use.

Second, The UX world!

The IDEA become REAL. this week we took the main scenario that we choose for our need and started to define 4 main pages = stages that the user will do in the app.

we must say that this stage needs to be based also on the technological tests that we did, to see if the features on the app, are realistic or not. what is more important to show?

what is the slang that we need to use for our users (students)? which icons will be more effective? and more subjects that we will test in the future. A/B testing will be a strong tool for us to get better results for the user experience.
